Bio:
I have been at Leeds since 2001. Previously I was a lecturer in Mathematics and in Computer Science at Keele University. Even earlier I was a research assistant at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. I am a graduate of the University of Manchester where I studied Mathematics (BSc) and Computer Science (MSc, PhD). More recently (2010) after part-time study, I gained a BA (1st class) in Fine Art from Leeds College of Art. I have received funding from EPSRC and AHRC for projects on the interface between Art and Science. The experimentation with three-dimensional drawing was in collaboration with Claude Heath and Patricia Cain.
